You might be a Lightworker IF….

I see that some people have already embraced their BIG roles as Lightworkers (call it whatever you like, there are many names—yahoo!  In ONENESS, everything is welcome!) but a few of you are not quite sure what is going on.  And you don’t have to BELIEVE me NOW (those would be your old stories surfacing), but if you are HERE, you are one!  And there are many, many others, all around the globe—some totally off-the-grid and most of them do not speak English!  So this is just one network linked to many.  Eventually, everything will be CLEAR.  But if you are asking yourself, what the HELL is this woman talking about…well, to “steal” from Jeff Foxworthy…

You might be a Lightworker IF….

1.     You have “suffered” what I refer to as “Save-the-World Syndrome”—a ridiculous passion/INTENSITY (which often shows up as ANGER at something…injustice, racism, treatment of animals, various dis-eases, homelessness, corporate greed,  etc.) to FIX/improve LIVING (and everything is LIVING, no?) conditions on this planet.  This “passion” has probably been with you since childhood, but some are just feeling it now.

2.     You have felt like you are HERE for a much BIGGER PURPOSE than serving coffee at a coffee shop or whatever “job” you may currently have.  *The truth is you are in the PERFECT place for YOU to do your lightwork EXACTLY where you are RIGHT NOW—in a lot of ways, those of you working in hospitality/customer service have access and influence on A LOT of people!  KNOW that each person you interact with, just being your-LOVING-self, changes them—whether they realize it or not!  So thank you!

3.     You HAVE NOTICED crazy shit is going on throughout the planet…from riots in Ancient Places (Egypt, Syria, Turkey immediately come to mind) to the POPE RESIGNING (for the first time in 6 CENTURIES!!!) and then the NEW POPE from SOUTH AMERICA stating: “homosexuality is OK” to local uprisings in your own families, circle of friends, colleagues, etc.  People are leaving jobs they hate; letting go of partners they have been with for decades; leaving the country to travel; changing their sexes; giving away all their material shit; and then some!  *Way too many to list here—but ALL GOOD—kind of like a tornado hitting a small town-- it LOOKS and FEELS very scary but at the same time, it is beautiful, right?  I mean, when you SEE a TORNADO, all of a sudden you remember SOMETHING ELSE is in charge and everything else is so small and unimportant.  And then, when the TORANDO leaves as quickly and unexpectedly as when it arrived, everyONE is left with NOTHING and STARTS to re-build a NEW BETTER TOWN (EARTH) TOGETHER.  Circle of Life—totally Lion King stuff!  *Walt Disney, an Ascended Master!

4.     You might be having all kinds of OLD (actually it is ANCIENT) SHIT showing up everywhere….old lovers, old fears, old insecurities, etc.  Good!  GET THEM OUT—whatever RELEASING method works best for you.   Ultimately, you will KNOW you have reached true INNER PEACE when nothing anyONE can say or do to you affects you in a negative way (biggest example, you know, JESUS on a fuckin’ CROSS!)  THAT is INNER PEACE.   You will be able to see everyONE with the EYES of LOVE (Horus!) NOTE:  We are ALL still working these things out for ourselves-- so don’t be too hard on yourself for tantrums and moments of being an ASS. 

5.     Things/people that used to bother you, no longer will!  Amen!  It is a side effect of FORGIVENESS--which is the key to COMPASSION which is the key to LOVE.

6.     You have probably been feeling all kinds of weird aches, pains, illnesses, insomnia…this is known as “Ascension Flu”…look it up, do your OWN INNER HOMEWORK!

My Big Wish List (for myself and humanity): # 2 The Fall of BIG Media

Noam Chomsky once said, “Violence is to dictatorship as propaganda is to democracy.”  Everyone already knows that “he” who controls the information, in fact, controls the world.  In the US, our most powerful, lucrative, and not-so-subliminal propaganda machine is Big Media.

Lest I need to remind you, one of our nation’s founding principles is free speech, which can only come from a free press.  However, in the past few decades, free press has been devoured by political parties and even bigger businesses, all with transparent motives.  The Federal Communications Commission (“You down with FCC?  Yeah, you know me”….then you also know I, the FCC, am a GOVERNMENT AGENCY—pssst, I am on “their” team!) was specifically created to ensure free speech and free press…wha, wha, wha…..

And if you are not sure who exactly is “big media”, just turn on your television.  In other words, if you think you are getting “free press” in the US, then you are clueless (and that is exactly what Big Media is counting on!)  Follow the money.  Don’t listen to me, do your OWN homework!

Here are some practical tactics to safe-guard free speech and free press in the US and beyond until ALL people are operating at higher levels of consciousness (and then there will be FULL transparency!):

1. Open internet. An open Internet has become indispensable for free speech; economic innovation; education and more— virtually every aspect of our democracy, not to mention our social systems.

2. Universal Access to Fast, Open and Affordable Broadband. One activist group, Free Press, is demanding that the FCC produce a national broadband plan that encourages competition (as opposed to the current monopolies) and rescues the millions of people (you know …“the marginalized”, “the poor people”, “the Untouchables”, etc.) still stranded on the wrong side of the digital divide. 

3. Get More Local Radio Stations on the Air.  For example, let’s return to local community-based radio-- in the form of new Low Power FM stations.

4. Educate people about the individuals and organizations behind today’s media.

These are just a few suggestions of the top of my former-Reuter’s Reporter head.  I am counting on my fellow journalists, editors, “citizen journalists”, bloggers, readers, people in the television/film/IT/radio industries (people CURRENTLY in the Media) to take this on, please!   True INFORMATION is the key to true COMMUNICATION, which is the key to true UNDERSTANDING, which is the key to true PEACE.

My Big Wish List (for myself and humanity): # 1

I believe we create EVERYTHING in our lives, literally. Each one of us is “writing” our own story, as we go.   Every thought is a sentence that becomes a person, place, thing, or experience in our lives (so choose your thoughts and words wisely!) And quite frankly, WE ARE BRILLIANT!  We choose the setting(s), the actors (even the “bad” guys), the drama and “tragedies”, the love scenes, the musical score, the adventures we wish to take, the lessons we WANT to learn—everything!  We are all self-writing BOOKS and collectively, we are a LIVING library! 

I see clearly how I (subconsciously) brought certain “characters” and experiences into my own story-- sometimes to teach/remind myself, sometimes to teach/remind others;  sometimes purely for scientific observation—“What happens when I (insert verb)?” ; sometimes for pure entertainment purposes (A LOT of THAT in my life!); and then sometimes to prove a point.  With this insight, I realized I have the ultimate power to edit, delete, re-write, and most importantly, write a NEW story for myself, and I can change it at any time! 

And the best part?!  There is NO EDITOR!  I AM both the writer and the editor (just how I like it!)  Therefore, I can write WHATEVER I want!  *Think of the dude who recently said, “Hey, I want to parachute from, you know…Space!” Guess what?  He DID!  And if we ALL wrote a new, more enlightened story for ourselves, we could collectively change our world as we know it!   We have the power to change our “world story” at ANY TIME!  (How about NOW?!) *This is in alignment with the whole idea that world peace starts with the inner-peace of each individual.

We “forget” we are the writers/creators of our own stories and how this impacts the collective human story (we are seeing this now clearly reflected in our world.)  We get “lost” or “trapped” in our “stories”  (script-writer Charlie Kauffman expressed this very concept in his film, “Adaptation”—well-done, Charlie.)  When people and events appear to be repeating in your life (i.e., every boss/boyfriend/housemate/neighbor you get is an “asshole”, one after another), then you are “stuck in the loop” (like an MC Escher drawing or the film, “Groundhog’s Day”) and need to “wake up” in order to get out (like in the film, “The Matrix”.) 

Bottom line: Really, WE ARE BRILLIANT!  Life, as we know it, IS the best-written story ever and no, there is not a “happy ending” because there is NO ENDING, we just keep getting better and becoming better writers/creators.

All that said, I want to ADD some IDEAS to our NEW Collective Story, I am calling it “My BIG Wish List.”  My BIG Wish List is very, very long—covering everything from housing issues to education systems to animal rights to health “care” and beyond—some really “out there” stuff.  Therefore, I am going to break it down, blog by blog, in hopes my intentions/thoughts/ideas/wishes will be embraced, IMPROVED and “grabbed” by people/groups/nations in the Collective Consciousness and grow into full manifestation in the future.  I am not concerned with the WHO, HOW and WHEN of these manifestations on Earth, but more with people “stepping into their power”, adding MORE positive, LOVE and heart-based intentions to this list and therefore, speeding up our ability to manifest more “enlightened”, loving solutions to our world’s current “challenges” (aka, “opportunities”.)

So here is the beginning of MY BIG WISH LIST (surely, as I learn more, this list will evolve…like everything else in the Universes, this is a LIVING Wish List!)  *In no particular order…because that would be so LINEAR of me:

1.    Removal of the Fear of Death— Only when the fear of death is removed from collective consciousness, will there truly be PEACE on EARTH.  Think of all the current (tragically flawed) systems that would naturally fall away if we NO LONGER FEARED DEATH (which I refer to as the “Ultimate Transition”)—from military organizations to dismantling the weapons, pharmaceutical, “security”, and many medical industries, and then some!  This also means creating new Death processes (embalming is not only archaic but TOXIC to the environment), new Death Rituals and Ceremonies—how about family-directed, home-based eco-funerals? And how about allowing people the Right to Die when they want to leave?  How about NOT hiding our sick and elderly in “nursing homes”?!  How about removing the “Death Penalty” (that one is more about our fucked up judicial systems, but alas, Death should NOT be a punishment especially when “truth” appears to be relative!)  How about we start honoring and CELEBRATING Death as we honor and celebrate a new birth?!

And just so you know, all of this is already happening, has already STARTED so to speak, thanks to people like YOU.  So, don’t listen to me, do your own homework on Death and let’s see if we can CHANGE the CURRENT “DEATH” STORY and make death as miraculous as birth!

Let’s bring God/Goddess Parties back!

Perhaps we need to celebrate ourselves AND those we LOVE a little more often? 

OBJECTIVE:  The return of regular God/Goddess parties to celebrate the Gods/ (people) we LOVE.

This past Friday, I attended a “Goddess Party” to honor my friend, Kea Charmak, before she leaves Sacramento for her new LIFE in Portland (also known as “ACT II”). We were instructed to wear “Goddess-gear” and bring our own instruments, magic and food.   I brought my travel-sized Tibetan singing bowl, Osho Zen Tarot Cards and some Pinot Grigio. We ended up with nothing short of Babette’s Feast of grilled shrimp, gourmet cheeses and OLIVES!, home-grown organic veggies, hummus (accurately pronounced like you are going to cough up some phlegm), an ABUNDANCE of Sangria, and Alex’s “crack” gourmet popcorn--* not to mention: bushels of sage, a buffet of essential oils and smelly stuffs, candles, drums, several types of tarot-like cards, buckets of crystals and funky rocks, and other totems.

After a sangria or two, we all formed a candle-lit, incense-filled circle around Kea, in Alex’s luxurious, South East Asian-themed living room.  Kea lain in the center, as we distributed pillows, instruments and chant lyrics, and strategically placed crystals on and around Kea’s body. Initiating Kea’s ceremony with sage and conscious intentions for GRATITUDE for the past, ABUNDANT BLESSINGS for the future and LOVE in the NOW, Jennifer played the critical role of the Priestess/MC.  We chanted (kirtan-style) “Om to the Goddess” together on Kea’s behalf.  We “laid hands” directly on Kea to fully SHARE our LOVE ENERGY. We closed ceremony with dancing and gifts.  Blue, a fellow goddess, painted a stunning portrait of Aphrodite and everyone added their personal graffiti to the painting.   The night ended late with giggles, warm-fuzzy tears, heart-to-heart hugs, words of love, and strong intentions to do this again….SOON.  But why not do it REGULARLY?!!!

Kea’s Goddess Party worked on so many levels because it gave Kea the opportunity to ALLOW LOVE WITHOUT HAVING TO DO ANYTHING.  It also allowed those who love her most to SHOW THEIR LOVE in a very REAL way.  We ALL made NEW FRIENDS and the whole experience made everyone feel LOVED.  Win-win-win-and FUN!  

If you are lucky, you are celebrated (at least) 3 times a year:  You know-- your birthday, Mother/Father’s Day, Valentine’s Day.  Perhaps we need to celebrate ourselves AND those we LOVE a little more often?  Therefore, I am proposing we bring God/Goddesses Parties BACK!
